Guerin: NHL must ban hits like Cooke's (AP)
Pittsburgh Penguins forward Bill Guerin says the NHL must outlaw hits to the head. That includes the kind of hit leveled by Guerin's teammate, Matt Cooke, against the Boston Bruins' Marc Savard. Savard is out indefinitely with a Grade 2 concussion sustained during a shoulder-to-head hit by Cooke on Sunday, but Cooke was not suspended.

Crosby's Olympic stick, glove found (AP)

Hockey Canada says the gear was misplaced rather than stolen, with both items ending up in the wrong place in the process of packing and shipping equipment after the Olympic final.

GMs agree to rule change on hits to head (AP)
NHL general managers will recommend a rule change on blindside hits to the head, looking to protect players and punish those responsible in a game that has become faster and rougher.
