The Ivory Coast football federation says it has not chosen a coach to lead the national team at the World Cup. Federation president Jacques Anouma told reporters at a meeting on Wednesday that he had "not yet signed with a coach". Honduran club Marathon defeated Mexico's UNAM Pumas 2-0 on Wednesday in the first leg of their CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal. In the other quarterfinal first leg, Comunicaciones of Guatemala secured a 1-1 home draw against Mexico's Pachuca. Former Socceroos goalkeeper Zeljko Kalac says he thinks Pim Verbeek will walk away from his job as Australia's head coach after the World Cup in South Africa.
